How It Works
A Clear, Supportive Process
From your first message to ongoing follow-up, here's exactly what to expect when you work with MedifineHealth.
The six steps
Step 1: Book Your Consultation
Choose the area you'd like support with and send a consultation request. You'll be contacted to confirm a suitable time.
- Online, from anywhere in India or internationally
- No clinic visit needed
Step 2: Complete Your Assessment
Before your consultation, you may be asked to share some relevant information so your time together can focus on what matters.
- Only information that is relevant to you
- Existing reports can be shared if you have them
Step 3: Consultation
An online conversation about your goals, lifestyle, food habits, nutritional concerns and any relevant health information.
- Your goals and expectations
- Your typical day and eating pattern
- Questions you'd like answered
Step 4: Personalized Nutrition Strategy
Recommendations are developed based on your assessment, built around your needs, preferences and routine rather than a generic chart.
- Practical food choices
- Priorities that are realistic for you
Step 5: Implementation
You apply the recommendations in everyday life: at home, at work, while eating out and on busy days.
- Small, achievable changes
- Guidance that respects your food culture
Step 6: Follow-Up & Refinement
Progress is reviewed, challenges are discussed, and the approach is adjusted when appropriate.
- What's working, and what isn't
- Refinements as your needs change
Preparing for your consultation
What You May Need
You don't need to prepare anything complicated. If available and relevant, the following can be helpful.
- Current weight and height
- A food diary, or a sense of your typical meals
- Relevant medical history
- Existing laboratory reports, if relevant
- Current medications or supplements, where appropriate
Blood tests are not automatically required. You will not be asked for information that isn't needed, and you can always ask why something is helpful.
Nutritional assessment
How Nutritional Needs Are Understood
Where appropriate, a nutritional assessment may consider four broad areas. Not every area applies to every person.
Anthropometric
- Weight
- Height
- BMI
- Waist circumference
- Other relevant measurements
Biochemical
- Relevant laboratory parameters, where existing reports are available and appropriate
Clinical
- Observable signs and relevant health history that may relate to nutritional status
Dietary
- 24-hour recall
- Food frequency
- Dietary patterns
- Cultural considerations
Nutritional concerns such as iron, vitamin D or vitamin B12 status cannot be identified from symptoms alone. Where relevant, existing laboratory reports and advice from your doctor are considered.
